Stargate SG-1 - "The Other Guys" (TV Episode Review #32)

 

Imagine getting an actual chance to hang out with your real heroes!  That’s pretty much what SGC scientist Dr. Jay Felger gets to do when he’s on an offworld expedition under the command of his idols, SG-1.  He loves SG-1 so much that when the team gets captured by Jaffa, he and his buddy, Dr. Coombs, set out to rescue them.  They are… the Other Guys.

Stargate Atlantis - "Harmony" (TV Episode Review #31)

 

“Harmony” is like a live-action rendition of an escort mission from a video game.  For this mission, player characters Lt. Col. John Sheppard and Dr. Rodney McKay are tasked with escorting an NPC, Princess Harmony.  She is the heiress presumptive to the throne of her kingdom on her home planet, but in order to prove herself worthy enough to become queen she must venture to an ancient ruin hidden within the forest.

Red Dwarf - "Polymorph" (TV Episode Review #30)

 

Polymorph (paw-lee-morf)

Noun.

A vampiric GELF (genetically engineered lifeform) that can take the form of anything—anything—and feeds on the negative emotions of its prey.  (In addition to preying on live creatures, the Polymorph is also able to prey on mechanoids and holograms.  Don’t question the logic.)

Farscape - "Nerve" / "The Hidden Memory" (TV Episode Review #29)

Aeryn Sun is gravely injured after an encounter with the Peacekeepers, so Moya’s crew has to find some medicine to save her.  The thing is, the closest place to get that medicine happens to be a moonbase—a top-secret PEACEKEEPER moonbase.  John Crichton ends up being the one person best fit to sneak in disguised as a Peacekeeper, and Chiana’s tagging along for the ride.  As long as Crais doesn’t show up, they should blend in just fine.  What could possibly go wrong?

Firefly - "Shindig" (TV Episode Review #28)

When Serenity stops by on the planet Persephone, Inara gets a client to date; she’ll be going to a fancy aristocratic party.  Meanwhile, Mal gets a task from Badger, wants to make a deal with a powerful nobleman, Sir Warwick Harrow.  But Sir Harrow does not trust Badger, so he wants Mal to relay his message to him.  Good news, though: Sir Harrow is also attending the very party that Inara is going to.  Looks like Mal will have to crash the party.
